What could be more fun than sitting by a pool on an alpaca farm? The theme of ‘rustic elegance’ runs through this project, from fieldstone walls, bluestone decking and perennial gardens to a nearby pool shed.

Our aim was to fit the swimming pool and gardens into the landscape so that it was not visible from afar. This creates a lovely surprise for visitors. The lines are simple and the two-level site design enhances the nestled feeling.

The pool shed was fashioned from an alpaca feeding pen. Now it houses a stainless steel kitchen, storage closets and counter and stools. And on the outside is an outdoor shower. We left nothing out!
