Sited high above the Hudson River, we took advantage of a commanding view and designed a breathtaking landscape. A series of outdoor rooms and terraces excite the senses and create lovely niches to relax and enjoy the verdant setting. Yet the extensive grounds also provide for a host of outdoor activities.

The pool landscaping enjoys a panoramic view and is bounded by a summer garden of roses, wisteria and annual flowers. The charming Garden Walk leads a visitor to the saltwater pool via a stepped path through flower borders, antique gates and an intimate courtyard. Side stone pathways take you to an alluring armillary set amidst a Cherry Tree Circle; a half-hidden picturesque, thatched ‘hut’ and an outstanding rock garden that changes with each season.  Other features we designed include a copper beech hedge, inviting grass steps, a cascading fountain and a ferny, shady grotto.
